Audra Sanlyn grew up in Virginia, where she currently lives with her husband and two children. After graduating from high school, she received a certificate in Business Management. She worked in the medical field through high school and college, and in 2011, decided to pursue a writing career. She self-published The Journal under the pen name Audra Johnson in 2012 and received an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts in 2015. The memoir Through the Eyes of a Veteran: A History of Winchester was published in 2016. She is now staying at home with her family and working on her third novel.
